You can follow the progress of our practice build for the Whitdel Arts Detroit exhibition “Anywhere But Here” on our wee slide show here. Sadly we were so whipped post build that we forgot to save the video file of us building…which I’m sure was very exciting if you were to speed it up…probably would have killed you if you had watch it in real time. It nearly killed us.

Any idea how many books you used to build it?
2,500 hard cover and few soft cover as filler? We really need more to complete the proposal installation I’m sending The Size Diversity Task Force all my Atkins soft cover in exchange for the hard cover they receive for their project. I have more Atkins books then his publisher!

All the exercise from building ‘the wall’ may be counter productive to your installation image! Still, it is perfect in every way.
Ah I’m so solid I could be building the great wall of china all by my lonesome, and I would still look the same…maybe a bit sweatier…but my same robust self!
